We implemented a new network for this start up business in Guildford. After detailed discussions with the owner, we supplied and installed a network of 3 PCs with a broadband connection, networked colour laser fax/printer/scanner and configured their email.

Guildford-based Drainage Company
We replaced their ageing Windows NT server and PCs with a new Small Business Server and 4 new PCs.  This also involved setting up a new email domain and new email addressing to resolve a number of ongoing issues they had with email communications. We recommended and implemented a new backup system, a company-wide antivirus and anti-spam solution and enabled remote working so they can access their email whilst out of the office and access applications on their office PCs from home.

Surrey-based Estate Agency
We upgraded their 3 user peer to peer network to a Microsoft Small Business Server based solution which enabled them to upgrade their estate agency system to a more reliable and more functional server based system. This also enabled them to store data centrally on the server for office documents, their estate agency system and email and have everything backed up automatically each night.

Surrey-based Private School
This school came to us with a requirement to network their 10 separate buildings across their campus.  All of the buildings had computers but not being networked severely limited their usefulness. We designed and implemented a brand new cabling system to network all of their buildings together using optical fibre cabling together with a redundant path for fault tolerance. We installed network switches in each of the buildings which then allowed all of the PCs to be connected to the main school network for internet access and file sharing.

Godalming-based Construction Company
We have provided support and consultancy for this growing company from implementing a small peer to peer network for 4 users in one office many years ago up to their current Small Business Server for 12 users across 5 sites.  As the company has grown we have recommended and implemented the most appropriate solutions taking in to account their immediate and future requirements, budget and growth plans. This has involved providing mobile access to email, secure connectivity between remote sites and the head office and addressing data storage and data backup requirements as the company has grown.

Insurance Company in Weybridge
We implemented a new Small Business Server network for this 15 user company to replace their ageing Windows servers.  We also implemented a second server to be used as a SQL Database server and worked with their database application vendor during the implementation. A third server was also installed for their contact management system which is used by all their staff. We installed a new broadband connection and firewall taking into account their particular requirement for enhanced security and impact to the business of internet down-time and enabled a number of mobile and remote working facilities allowing them to access their emails from home and on the move and to access their business applications whilst out of the office.
We also implemented an automated Windows 7 deployment capability so that they can standardise their PCs with the same software, versions and configuration and easily deploy new PCs or reinstall existing PCs as and when required without external IT help. We provide ongoing support for all three servers and the network PCs and our innovative server monitoring system provides proactive monitoring for their business critical IT systems.
